Thanks Jim for recognizing the work that goes into any task that is attempted.
I did shoot 200, but still feel like I can improve.
Some say you can't buy a perfect score.
I disagree.
It takes a lot of pellets and disciplined practice.
I have probably shot 20,000 plus pellets in the last year.
You can never accept that you can only shoot 190 or other scores.
Some folks have defeated themselves by saying, I can only shoot 185.
If you say that, you are defeated before you start.
Semper Fi to you brother.

JC, Amen:
Your comments are not only accurate but offer encouragement to everyone.
If you are truly doing your very best no one will ever doubt your effort.
Now before I go any further this club is indeed one of fun and friendship.
Everyone please remember that our club offers Offhand and Benchrest competition.
Personally I prefer Offhand Pistol and Rifle, I do shoot Benchrest Pistol and Rifle.
I take great pleasure in offering help and advice in Offhand to anyone at anytime.
I have a feeling that JC has found that sweet spot in his shooting that only comes when
you are in the proverbial zone.
Way to go Marine.
I'm going to knuckle down and take my gear to the limit in Benchrest.
An important message in the line above, when I say take it to limit means I'll do everything I can
to reach a level of accomplishment that I'm comfortable and happy with.
We have a wonderful nucleus of expieranced members willing to offer anything for your improvement at anytime.
There have been occasions when I needed some time to practice but found it necessary to talk to members at the range.
Most times talking about shooting, discussing theniques or equipment is very rewarding.
I have had the distinct honor and pleasure to be among world class Bullseye shooters both Civilian and Military.
Listening to casual target tech talk between them has enriched my approach to try to improve my satisfaction in
my own scores.
I'd like to end this note on Benchrest, its not as easy as it looks folks.
I've heard people say, "that must be easy because the rifle does'nt move"
To that all I can say is, give it your best shot.
Thanks JC for setting the bar to the limit.
Do it again and again.......
I got a lot of road work to do.......
Best regards to all ;
