Been said many times , however we always learn from the old.. Thanks go out the outgoing officers that have done a great job.
and even more thanks go out to those stepping up to fill those new positions. We all need to take notice that very few offers to step up
to fill these positions were made. If any club is to succeed it take everyone pulling the same direction.
This would be a good time for many others including myself to help out more at our weekly meets, we need more Marshalls to even the load
so that the same people and not always forced to do the duties so that we can shoot. It would be a good start to do more classes for Range marshals
Time to step up and help out the new official's, and thanks to Lenny for becoming the Rio Range Officers... way to go big shoes to fill . Let hope that you can
BAKE

Harold: I totally agree with your feedback and remarks . Something hppened at last nights meeting. Generally, most of our clubs meetings were in the past, dry and predictable. The comprehensive exchange of ideas and techniques regarding the care of our equipment was very informative. Many of our members through expierance and education have a lot to offer. I'll never pass an opportunity to try or experiment with suggestions that might help me to improve. Most people tend to resist change. Last nights meeting might be one of the most rewarding changes this club has seen in quite some time. Yes Harold we need more help with a lot of "behind the scenes" volunteers. I care deeply about shooting sports and will always try to help anyone at anytime. There are numerous other members who feel as I do and will offer the same. Our Web Site needs some tweaking along with our Charter and rules. Remember, changes if they are made will be put forth to benifit every member. If any member needs to vent or offer any suggestion there are many ways to correspond. As a newly appointed member of the rules committee along with Jay and Dennis I believe us three will create a fair and unambiguous set of guidelines for all to follow. Jim,
What tweaks would you like to see on the website? I ask at the meetings but nobody responds. I made some changes after last nights meeting and am open to more. Take a look and let me know. If I don't think the changes need members approval I can just do it. What the worst that can happen - I get fired :>)

Jim: Thanks for the comeback. I think maybe there's a lot of stale stuff that needs stripping. Better if we sit together and discuss it further. Your right, the membership doesn't need to be conferred with for changes that make the site user friendly. Also, I failed to mention at the meeting that I wanted to have a locked suggestion box at each range. Heck we can call it "the squawk box". Want to complain do it, want to rant do it. Go anonymous or step up to the plate. Only the two Range Masters have a key....... JC and Lenny. I think you might find some interesting comments. lol I feel safe talking openly to you in this Forum, after all your the only one who will read this......... My best regards always: Semper Fi Jim

I agree with you both that after last nights meeting I noticed a change in the "atmosphere". I think there will be some positive changes in the near future with the Club overall and am looking forward to these changes. And yes, I will still bake, we won't have to send Lenny to cooking school.
